With his shirt gone, Haibara's hands move, fingers finding the buttons of Nanami's shirt, starting to loosen them, even as it remains tucked into his pants. He would have gone for the tie first, his gaze dropping to the length of fabric in Nanami's hand, the color bringing a softer smile to his lips.

Not that it lasts, Haibara releasing his shirt so he can lift himself onto the counter, wrapping his legs around Nanami's waist before leaning in to kiss him again, his eyes closing, hands sliding to push the shirt off Nanami's shoulders.

1/28 -- Vacation to Tides

Nanami feels more at ease the moment they leave Epiphany. The regular experience of travel to Tides altered by their luggage still instills the calmness that comes from routine, the rest in it. They're going at the usual time because that makes everything else feel more right in the world. They take the train, then ride horses, and finish by submarine to reach the port within Tides itself. The hustle and bustle of a busy city, complete with people paying him absolutely no mind further relaxes him. Nanami leads the way to the Cetacea Suites where he first lived temporarily. They don't get the same room, but that's fine. It can be their room instead of his room.

Then they're in the door, and Nanami sets down their things, those he carried, and sets about unpacking. It may be a short trip, but it's important not to live out of a suitcase. "What would you like to do first?" Nanami asks Haibara while he does so.

2/17 -- Proposal in Tides

Usually, Nanami and Haibara get ready for dates and walk to them together. It's a regular part of their weekends in Tides, one or two dates each weekend. At least. This time, however, Nanami asks Haibara to meet him at the restaurant, a high end Japanese restaurant, and he gets there, well, early. His suit is a nicer variation on his usual suit, though his tie as ever reflects his mood instead of politely matching his outfit. Nanami has had to get used to that unfortunate reality. However, he knew his mood for the night and dressed to match his tie.

He's excited and a little nervous, though there's no reason to be, and Nanami forces himself to stand tall and even, none of that showing externally. Haibara can still feel it through their Familiar bond no doubt, as he can feel Haibara's emotions across the distance. Such a comforting familiarity. Their soulmate bond will eventually feel as settled. The Familiar bond was overwhelming at first too. It's all that way.

6/20 after Nanami's talk with Maki

He wasn't eavesdropping, not really but the fact Nanami left the apartment was enough to have him waiting on the couch for when he returns. He's aware Nanami hasn't told him everything and he hasn't really asked much about the future.

Because it doesn't really change what's happening here and when Nanami's ready to talk he will. But from the sight of the girl, and yes he'd seen her before disappearing into the bedroom, stuff was probably worse than he'd suspected.

There's also tea waiting on the table.

"....Are you okay?" It's quiet, concern in his voice.
