"It is. Even the most mundane aspects of Tides is beautiful. A whole city that is itself a work of art." It makes sense given the focus of the school here. Nanami isn't an artist himself, but he appreciates it. He enjoys living his life surrounded by beauty. Enough of it is surrounded by horrors and terrors. Back home, at least, it was. His apartment was a safe space from that, but Tides... Tides is that all on its own.
He blinks at Haibara's statement, surprised. "Is it that noticeable?" Nanami asks. He hopes not everyone sees that.
Nanami nods and rubs his thumb across the back of Haibara's hand. He's glad it isn't so obvious to everyone. They all chose to live in Epiphany, and Nanami chose to as well. It's for their sake, but he doesn't want them to feel bad about that.
"Good, that's good. Not everyone sees through me like you do."
It's what they're used to. It's what Nanami is used to. What he was like generally the whole month before Haibara showed up too. Haibara's changed everything. All of it is more bearable with him here.
"It's my first time watching the sun set through the water."
In a wild act, Nanami lets go of Haibara's hand to wrap his arm around his shoulder and pull Haibara that little bit closer. "Me too. I want to have a lot of firsts together."
Haibara just leans into him, rests his head against Nanami's shoulder for a moment before shifting up just enough to press a kiss to his jaw before settling back against his side. "We will."
They watch the sun go down before returning to their hotel room. Nanami is glad he unpacked before they left the room, though he feels dusty and grimy from travel now that he's settled and eaten. He turns the water on for a shower and starts removing his clothes to set them aside for laundering.
Haibara hasn't even started undressing, just leaning against the sink, gaze on Nanami as he undresses, his lips quirking slightly. "I'll never argue over showering with you."
Nanami appreciates that his tie is off as he unbuttons his shirt. Though they are in the hotel and he's getting ready to shower, it takes his mind a moment to catch up with that look and tone. He shakes his head.
"It feels like you've been looking at me like that all evening."
"Kento, I look at you like this because you're the most attractive person I've ever met." His voice is soft, Haibara pulling his shirt off.
"Because I love you and just being close to you is everything I could ever want." Arms slide around him once the shirt is off, Haibara's lips curving into a soft smile.
He adds the shirt to the hamper and cannot help shaking his head a little, but he's smiling a little. Nanami takes a moment to hold Haibara close, even as the water runs and heats up. He's so glad, every day, that Yu is here. That they get to be together.
"Everyone who sees us can know that," Nanami says, without much chiding. Not really. "If they knew how to read me, they'd see it there too."
"Maybe I like being the only one who gets to know you like that." His hands slide up Nanami's back, Haibara pressing a kiss to his jawline, the side of his neck, the corner of his mouth.
"The only one who can make you blush like we're both still sixteen."
While Nanami appreciates the privacy, he thinks everyone ought to know it goes both ways. It isn't only that Haibara is smitten with Nanami and thinks he's attractive. Nanami's just as smitten with him, considers him just as attractive, and couldn't be happier with him here. Some people might have a clue, Gojo and Geto, but most... don't.
"Lord, you probably make me blush more than I did at sixteen," Nanami moans. He kisses Haibara though, content to do everything now they're together in private.
"You'll get used to it again." There's a soft laugh behind the words, once the kiss ends. "You're just out of practice." There's another kiss before he finishes undressing, his mouth finding a spot to bite lightly on Nanami's shoulder, sucking a mark there.
"I'm trying to ease you into things outside the privacy of our home."
Nanami is definitely out of practice. He's grown used to other habits, such as things never starting unless at someone's home. There's no reason to kiss in public with friends with benefit. They're just friends when they're out. "Today is easing?" he asks, teasing.
He removes the rest of his clothes. The water has to be warm by now. He picks Haibara up by his waist and carries him into the shower.
"I only kissed you once in public." Haibara reminds him quietly, leaning to kiss him again once he's been picked up, arms looping around Nanami's neck.
Nanami closes the door to the shower and enjoys the water pouring down on them from above. It feels good. He meant it about getting clean, but he's taking some time to kiss Haibara back, to talk, to relax. "One very public kiss in a restaurant," Nanami says, "I felt the eyes on us."
Surely a kiss on the street was less notable. He kisses Haibara fully now, pressing his tongue into Yu's mouth and holding him tight against him. No shyness here.
Haibara kisses him back eagerly, gives his mouth up to Nanami, one hand sliding into his hair as the other drops, traces down his side and when the kiss ends.
"And? You're a very attractive man. They'd be looking anyway. I didn't stick my tongue in your mouth so it was acceptable for a public kiss." His fingers skim over Nanami's hip, trace across before he wraps a hand around Nanami to stroke him.

"I am aware," Nanami says and forces himself to breath evenly, "of how often people stare at me under usual circumstances." It's more with Haibara, even when they aren't kissing. Like the fact they're together somehow, what, draws attention to him for being unavailable? It should be the other way around.
Nanami lets Haibara go to his feet, mostly so both of his hands can explore his body freely, without supporting him. He's been hungry for Haibara as well. "I may not act on my urges in public, but that hardly means I don't have them," Nanami answers.
"I don't expect you to act on them in public." Although he wouldn't mind some more possessive kisses when they're 'alone' in public or even if they're not but he's well aware that's not likely any time soon. Haibara makes a soft sound, before sinking to his knees, his gaze focusing on Nanami's face.
And then he drags his tongue over the head of Nanami's cock, hand sliding down to his base to hold him there. "Were you thinking about this?" And then he takes Nanami into his mouth, tongue teasing the underside of his shaft.
