Nanami kisses Haibara back but appreciates the kiss staying as it is. It's one evening he does not want to skip the nice dinner. He takes Haibara's hand and squeezes it for a moment. By the end of the night, all going well, it will not be as plain.

"I am not sure," Nanami admits, "I couldn't read the signature in any intelligible way. We certainly have artists among the Star Children." He doesn't know when it was made either, as it's a recent discovery for him.

He guides the way back toward the restaurant since it's time. He gives his name, and they're taken to a fairly private table for two, given the setting. It's nice, the whole place giving only the softest of hushes of conversations between tables. Nanami pulls out Haibara's chair for him before sitting opposite.
