That sound makes him ache, and Nanami nearly kisses Haibara again then and there to make it go away. Fortunately, Haibara moves before he does so, and that buys him the time he needs to resist the urge. It's harder than it should be, he thinks, given how good his self-control is under any other circumstance. All those years of Gojo annoying him help nothing at all around Haibara.

"The couch?!" Nanami is shocked, but he doesn't say no. Haibara's been dead and only eaten a handful of meals while awake. Nanami can, an eyebrow twitches, eat on the couch. "Water's fine."

He pulls down bowls, since they're not eating at a table, and serves them both generous portions.
